JOB PURPOSE
Personal Care and Beauty and Wellbeing Europe business has an extensive network of owned factories and third-party manufacturers (Collaborative Manufacturers) to produce the portfolio integrated by the biggest and iconic brands of the company. 6 sizeable factories plus over 50 collaborative manufacturers across Europe are part of that network and the scope of the role.
Joining a high-performance team integrated by factory controllers and become part of the core cross functional team dedicated to Collaborative manufacturers.
The main job purpose:
  • Production Cost Analyst: Insightful analysis on how the different drivers are impacting the landed production cost in Profit & Loss.
  • Forecast consistency and analysis: full understanding of forecast impact and communication to the business. - Actual vs Forecast
  • Development of forecast models to address different topic that are impacting production cost. In a very volatile context, every day there are new challenges to be included in the forecast.
  • Coordination of different continuous improvement projects in Finance Sourcing unit Controlling team across all the factories
Partner Procurement with added value activities to optimize the Collaborative Manufacturers network. Become the Finance Lead on all topics and projects related with Collaborative Manufacturers.
  • Collaborative Manufacturers spent optimisation: find area of savings, material cost benchmarking (upstream sourcing or Sell and buy back options vs non direct buy).
  • Performance management: Provide insights to support the business on decision making process. Drive the agenda and priorities together with procurement to deliver results and targets.
  • Make sure that all controls needed are implemented and effectively in place.
  • Risk and liabilities management: track and follow up all liabilities related with Collaborative manufacturers, connect with Material controlling team to ensure all the risk are covered via provision or included in the forecast.
  • IFRS16 – Identify embedded lease in Collaborative Manufacturers, reconcile the volume and submit the data requested for audit purpose.
SKILLS YOU SHOULD HAVE
  • The ability to keep the big picture and at the same time to dive efficiently into the details is critically important.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent stakeholder management are key to succeed in this role.
  • Strong link with the procurement and operations team.
  • Business acumen: has a natural passion for operations design and business results. Is biased towards actions that have the most tangible and significant impact to the business.
  • Rapidly absorbs new information, knowledge and applies new techniques, technology, and procedures.
  • Bias for action: ensuring decisions are taken swiftly across the entire value chain
  • Communication skills: able to present effectively to senior leaders in the organization and to flex the communication style depending on the audience.
  • Networking skills: able to work remotely with numerous stakeholders and to develop with them collaborative relationships.
  • Negotiation skills: able to keep people accountable and to influence the implementation of the agreed action plans.
THE QUALITIES WE LOOK FOR
  • Professional finance qualification equivalent to CA, CIMA, ACCA.
  • 2/3 years’ experience. High valued experiences in Supply Chain and country finance roles
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
