Main responsibilities and key tasks
The Sales Manager is responsible for drawing up and executing a sales plan for the Residential and Contract segment with the aim of achieving the predetermined sales targets within the African Region.
- Developing sales strategies and setting targets in close cooperation with the Sales Director
- Reaching the targets and goals set for your area within the identified commercial excellence framework
- Follows up and analyze the sales figures, margins and costs, tests them against the predetermined targets and makes adjustments where necessary
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base for residential (mainly wholesale) and contract business
- Key Account Management
- Investigate and develop opportunities within project developers and architects and use the appropriate marketing tools to quickly and successfully enter these new markets
- You lead the negotiation conversations with decision makers and you become responsible for developing and supporting a long-term relationship with the customer
- Contribute towards the development of the company’s product and market development plans by collecting customer feedback and market research (keeping up to date with products and competitors)

Location
- Europe but willing and able to travel within the sales area up to 70% of the time

- Must: English + French
- Nice to have: Dutch and any other language
