Job Description:
The Patient Access Revenue Cycle Registration Consultant guides the client and Cerner colleagues in identifying and executing the changes required to achieve defined benefits. Using effective consulting skills in meetings and events, the consultant drives the client through design of clinical and business processes, solutions and technology workflows, and successful adoption that will lead to achieved value. The Patient Access Revenue Cycle Registration Consultant assists in organizational change management, helps clients identify opportunities for improvements, and is accountable for achieving the project’s targeted outcomes.
The Patient Access Revenue Cycle Registration Consultant will need to be able to work through design / configuration, issue resolution for items identified throughout the testing process. Prior experience with design and build as they relate to registration within the Revenue Cycle application, but not limited to, the following:
- Issue resolution (both testing and during design phase)
- Experience with both Acute and Ambulatory workflows
- Registration conversations
- Registration rules
- Working knowledge of integration with related solutions such as Scheduling, Emergency Management, SurgiNet, Patient Status Orders (PSO), Charge Services and Patient Accounting.
- Experience with Experian Implementations is preferred but not required.
