Main purpose of the position
Become part of our new ISS Finance Service Center office in Gdańsk. As a Junior PTP Associate, we will give you the opportunity to develop in the selected area of Purchase to Pay, such as Transaction Processing, Cash & Payment, Account Management.
As ISS Finance Service Center, we provide Finance & Accounting services to European countries. Core services include cover Accounting (R2R), Customer billing, banking & reporting (O2C) and Accounts Payables activities (P2P). ISS FSC is on an exciting journey to expand the offer of provided services along with a wider scope of PTP activities.
What you will do:
- Processing of incoming PTP documents in accordance with ISS policy
- Tracking liabilities, unsettled payments, clearing accounts of outdated items
- Respond to Supplier and business PTP queries daily
- Support for other PTP processes, including those related to month-end closing
- Maintaining good relations with Customers
Within the selected specialization:
- Invoice Processing you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of all incoming invoices
- Cash and Payments you will be responsible for ensuring that all payments of 3rd party, Intercompany suppliers and subcontractor invoices and employee expenses are paid including cash allocations.
- Account Management you will be a key person minimizing risks related to AP Ledger and P&L, full supplier reconciliations and resolving supplier account portfolio queries.
Who you will work with:
- Suppliers, business stakeholders, PTP Managers, GSS UK Team, Leaders, Project Managers, and Associates
Professional skills you possess/Perfect expectations (should not be more than 5-6 bullets)
- A university degree, preferably in finance and accounting, or the last year of studies
- The first experience in a similar position (including internships)
- General knowledge of PTP processes
- Very good knowledge of English in speech and writing, allowing for easy communication with external and internal English-speaking clients
